About the event

Overview

The standard approach for developing planned maintenance has been focused on quantitative-based risks and failures mitigation techniques i.e., RCM, RBI, FMECA, etc., this results in risk-based maintenance activities and interventionists that are technically comprehensive, with resources focused on the most critical systems and equipment, but maintenance optimisation, requires accurate quantitative data. The traditional reliability review process is an onerous task, typically reviewing unstructured maintenance records, potentially stretching back months / years, between reviews.

Implementation of maintenance tasks and activities requires to evolve further beyond the current quantitative-based risks and failures mitigation techniques. Risk need to be more dynamically quantified and the maintenance continually improved to better manage the safety, environmental and business priorities “real-time”.
